An international pharmaceutical company is seeking to recruit a Junior Manager, Market Access to their office in Munich. This organisation specialises in ophthalmology, having expanded into the global market and been present in the European market for nearly 20 years. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company dedicated to becoming a European leader in ophthalmology.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and submission of national HTA reimbursement Dossiers.
  • Coordinating and project managing reimbursement strategies in alignment with EMEA and country pricing strategies, including launch sequencing and identification of optimal funding routes.
  • Supporting the health economic modelling strategies and RWE generation and value messaging initiatives reflecting the additional value of new medicines and devices.
  • Assessing and anticipating reimbursement requirements across EMEA countries.
  • Supporting the development of RWE and health economics publications to support HTA processes.
  • Supporting BD activities and portfolio development as requested.
  • Supporting cross-functional brand plan developments and implementation.
  • Supporting the engagement with national and local HTA authorities, patient associations and other key stakeholders.
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure internal alignment across departments (e.g. Marketing, Medical Affairs and other EMEA functions).

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the life science industry, preferably in a consulting firm.
  • Experience in reimbursement strategy development and implementation in EU5 markets for pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
  • Experience in HTA requirements of national HTA bodies (clinical evaluation, data presentation, health economic evaluation and value communication).
  • Experience with launch Strategies for devices and medicines on European level.
  • Profound knowledge of European funding mechanisms and solid understanding of payers' perspectives.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
