Executive Director, Targeted Therapies

Proclinical, in support of our client, are seeking an individual to fill the role of Executive Director, Targeted Therapies. The successful candidate will develop translational strategies for use in human clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of Translational Program Leads in conducting a translational research effort investigating several targeted agents.
• Provide scientific expertise/direction and leadership to the Translational Sciences organization.
• Develop and implement of the translational plans for clinical studies.
• Responsible for data review, analysis, and interpretation from a variety of sources and continual evaluation of the potential impact of research findings on development projects and future discovery efforts.

Skills And Qualifications

• Strong scientific background with a MD or PhD and 10+ years' experience working in an area of research investigating human biology.
• Dynamic and innovative scientist with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to balance execution of multiple tasks to accomplish program goals.
• Interest in working in and creating an environment of scientific curiosity and an open exchange of ideas.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
