A biopharmaceutical company that specialises in inflammatory diseases and orphan diseases, is looking to hire an EU Clinical Trial Liaison to be remotely-based anywhere in the EU.

Job Role:

Subject matter expert responsible for supporting the successful enrollment and conduct of clinical studies across multiple indications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with Principal Investigators (PIs) and clinical trial sites to support the enrollment and conduct of global clinical studies
  • Works with clinical trial sites to understand and implement clinical protocols effectively; partners with sites to develop and implement effective local and regional subject recruitment strategies
  • Provides scientific and clinical content expertise on company's pipeline to PIs
  • Supports the development of high-quality educational content such as slide decks, Investigator Meeting presentations etc. and makes presentations at clinical study sites
  • Works closely with in-house Clinical Development and Clinical Operations leads to develop strategies for successful implementation and enrollment of clinical trials
  • Plans and supports the conduct of clinical study meetings as needed, to obtain medical and scientific insights and advice.
  • Prepares and gives internal presentations on the status of clinical trial execution
  • Represents the company at key medical, science and advocacy meetings; plans and facilitates meetings with KOLs and key investigators with company clinical development leads
  • Contributes to the competitive database for company programs in the relevant indications
  • Develops and conducts education and communication activities for external audiences, including face-to-face, print, and electronic.
  • Participates in the review and approval of study related documents and plans

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced degree (i.e. MD, DO, PharmD) required with a background in Immunology and/ or hematology; Advanced clinical understanding of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and/ or hemoglobinopathies is desirable. (Without an advanced degree, requires a scientific degree with 5+ years of industry experience)
  • The ability to travel to clinical sites frequently as required (estimated at 50%)
  • Should be fluent in 2 or more languages, including English.
  • Team orientated and the ability to work collaboratively towards common objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to understand, analyze and communicate medical and scientific concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to translate strategy into tactics and measurable operational outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are required.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and is self-motivated to work in a dynamic environment with aggressive timelines.
