Are you looking to make an impact with your innovation? We are working with a well-established pharmaceutical company to recruit for a dedicated individual for their communications team.

Proclinical is seeking a Communications Associate to support both external and internal communications across the Northern European Hub. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about crafting impactful narratives that enhance visibility, innovation, and stakeholder engagement. You will oversee day-to-day press office operations and lead internal communication strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily press office operations, including media monitoring, response coordination, and proactive outreach.
  • Develop and execute strategic media activities related to clinical trial data and regulatory milestones.
  • Prepare and brief senior leaders for external engagements and media opportunities.
  • Create and manage corporate campaigns on social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
  • Update corporate content on external websites regularly.
  • Collaborate with EU and global communications teams to align messaging and support regional priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and external stakeholders.
  • Design and implement a strategic internal communications plan for the Northern European Hub.
  • Develop engaging content to highlight senior leadership and amplify key external milestones internally.
  • Drive employee engagement through clear, consistent, and inspiring internal messaging.
  • Partner with HR and business unit leads to support change communications and cultural initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in media relations and strategic communications.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work across multiple markets within a global matrixed organization.
  • Understanding of the regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing communications or public affairs campaigns.
  • Background in journalism, communications, public policy, or political affairs.
  • Familiarity with neuroscience, oncology, immunology, or cardiometabolic health.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and political landscape in the UK and/or Nordics.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and data analytics platforms.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
