Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Central London onsite 5 days a week
Salary: £60-£70k + 10% Commission
Proclinical are recruiting a Business Development Manager for a medical publishing consultancy. This role is on a permanent basis and located in central London.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our medical publishing journal. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and drive revenue growth.
- Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to effectively position our journal and tailor sales strategies.
- Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
- Work closely with our editorial and marketing teams to align sales strategies with the content and goals of the journal.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, track your progress, and provide regular reports to the management team.
Experienced Required
- 5 years+ of experience in B2B Sales/telesales, preferably within the medical, publishing, or related industries.
- Experience managing the complete sales process, from lead generation to closure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with potential clients.
