Bioprocess Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a BPE for a contract role based in Switzerland. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of production campaigns in compliance with cGMP guidelines. This role involves process optimization, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of production campaigns in adherence to cGMP guidelines.
• Develop and review risk analyses and implement resulting measures.
• Ensure batch execution, analyze test results, and address issues with manufacturing equipment, providing solutions as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, process knowledge, and GMP compliance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for processes, equipment, and workflows in collaboration with project teams.
• Train team members on assigned products and campaign-specific procedures, and contribute to cross-project training initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological production, preferably in operations.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Strong understanding of GMP regulations.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, cross-functional, and focused manner.
• Well-organized and open to new ideas and suggestions.
• Experience with operations and familiarity with TrackWise is advantageous.
