Proclinical is seeking a Biopharmaceutical Associate I to support the production and delivery of high-quality biopharmaceutical drug substances. This position involves hands-on operations with process equipment, media preparation, and monitoring systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will contribute to safe, compliant, and reliable manufacturing processes while adhering to best practices in documentation and safety.
Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and document processes accurately.
- Familiarity with good documentation and data integrity practices.
- Commitment to safety procedures and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
The Biopharmaceutical Associate I's responsibilities will be:
- Prepare, clean, sterilize, batch, pasteurize, filter, and deliver media and solutions for cell culture and purification operations.
- Set up, operate, clean, and break down process equipment.
- Perform sampling procedures using analytical instruments to analyze cell culture solutions and product concentration characteristics.
- Operate filter integrity equipment to confirm the integrity of filters pre- and post-use.
- Monitor and trend process operations, equipment, and instruments to proactively identify and escalate issues for resolution.
- Set up fixed and mobile process equipment and parts with Clean-In-Place (CIP) skids to execute validated cleaning and sterilization processes.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and batch records/logbooks to perform operations safely and document accurately.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures, actively identifying and correcting unsafe behaviors and conditions.
