The background
We began working with our partner, an Australian-based animal health manufacturer, when the HR and recruitment manager went on maternity leave. At the same time the business was dealing with difficult internal cultural issues, organisational change, and a poor reputation in the market due to the previous leadership team. Entry-level employees were leaving in quick succession, which left some crucial and very technical roles open.
The challenge
The newly appointed CEO wanted to work with us to find replacements for these key technical positions, and to assist him at a time when he had significantly depleted resources from a recruiting perspective. A quick turnaround was required and we started off with 4 roles: QC lab manager, QA director, process engineer and a QA associate.
The solution
The new CEO implemented a new strategy for expanding the business quickly and asked us if we could support them with their growth plan. We formed an exclusive partnership to support their vision for the future, starting with a new quality team and a change of culture within the business. We acted on a consultative basis, advising our partner how best to transform their culture, by finding talent who would steer this positive change. This was difficult due to their existing reputation in the market, however we worked hard to find those people who were willing to be part of the change. We are proud to have played a significant part in the company’s growth journey, with 20+ placements in highly technical positions made so far.
The outcome
We advised on realistic timelines and managed the interview process.
Within 4 weeks, the initial roles were sourced effectively by our team.
We have since helped the company make 20+ placements in highly technical positions which were key to the successful day-to-day operation of the business.
We continue have a successful partnership as their business continues to move from strength to strength.
