Proclinical, in support of our client, are seeking an individual to fill the role of Staff Scientist I, based in Plainsboro, NJ. The successful candidate will be responsible to conduct bioanalytical work in support of discovery and development programs in the area of DMPK.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day laboratory activities.
- Prepare and analyze samples from plasma, blood and tissue specimens and PK/PD studies, as well as sample generated from in vitro ADME studies.
- Develop bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methods for the quantitative analysis of small and large molecules in a non-GLP environment.
- Process the data and compose an appropriate report.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS instrumentation.
- Compile, record, calculate, and analyze data in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Interpret significance of results and draws conclusions.
Skills And Qualifications
- BA/MS in chemistry, biology or related, and 1-8 years of relevant experience.
- LC-MS/MS operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Experience with bioanalytical sample preparation and method development.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
