Tissue Sales Specialist - Contract - Salt Lake, Utah

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to focus on supporting sales and account management activities within the diagnostics field, particularly in cellular pathology and cancer pathways

Primary Responsibilities:

This position. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive commercial success and secure contracts.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Life Sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience, such as a background as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • Strong knowledge of cellular pathology, oncology, and the biological mechanisms underpinning cancer development.
  • Practical experience working within a cellular pathology laboratory environment would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tissue diagnostics solutions, including Roche Tissue Diagnostics products or comparable technologies from competing manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a defined sales territory, with exposure to NHS procurement processes, pathology purchasing frameworks, and tender submissions.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to support and secure high-value commercial agreements and large-scale contracts.
  • Competent in leveraging digital sales technologies, including CRM platforms and data-driven reporting or analytics tools.
  • Previous experience supporting or utilising Roche Tissue Diagnostics platforms and associated solutions is desirable.

The Tissue Sales Specialist's responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute strategic strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as IT specialists, managed service teams, and product specialists.
  • Manage a sales territory within the West Midlands or Wales, ensuring effective engagement with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support pathology procurements and tenders within the NHS, working closely with internal and external teams.
  • Utilize digital sales engagement tools, including CRM systems and data analytics, to enhance commercial performance and overcome barriers to adopting new diagnostic solutions.
  • Provide expertise and insights into cellular pathology and cancer pathways to support client needs and sales objectives.
