Specialist Programmer

Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Specialist Programmer position with a global biopharmaceutical company. The organisation focuses on developing treatments in the fields of oncology, cardiovascular & metabolic disease (CVMD) and respiratory fields, as well as actively participating in the fields of autoimmunity, neuroscience, and infection. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with an innovative company whose medicines are used by millions of patients worldwide. This is a remote role to be carried out in a home-based capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing technical expertise and support on evaluating and testing tools for collecting various types of data.
• Creating, adjusting, and programming databases, ensuring adequate resources and adherence to methodology standards.
• Programming and documenting program packages used for presenting data.
• Providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Skills and Requirements:

• Respiratory and CVRM experience is essential.
• The role is set to start late Sept/Early Oct - The company will not be able to accommodate any earlier starts.
• Working with Programmers in Sweden and the US (So working with teams remotely is highly desirable).
• Ideal for someone working on a 2 month + notice period.
• Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
• Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
