Proclinical is seeking a Service Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced medical equipment in the nuclear medicine solutions sector. Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Coordinate scheduling for maintenance, installations, upgrades, and emergency responses.
  • Forecast workload and manpower needs.
  • Manage customer support requests, mission reports, and product knowledge updates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, HR, and radiation protection policies.

People Management:

  • Supervise and support a team of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) in Belgium and abroad.
  • Act as the escalation point for urgent technical issues.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and manage team workload and priorities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members.

Technical Oversight:

  • Oversee test activities and team assignments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Administrative Duties:

  • Lead performance reviews and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Validate timesheets and coordinate with HR.
  • Monitor team budgets and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Enhance scheduling tools and optimize team workload distribution.
  • Streamline operational processes and recruitment workflows.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in people management, ideally in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and active listening abilities.
  • A results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing technical talent.
  • Customer-oriented approach and adaptability to new tools and methodologies.
