Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for building scalable, modular technology platforms?

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Manager of System Architecture to lead the development of end-to-end architecture across multidisciplinary domains including hardware, software, electronics, and consumables. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive innovation, technical governance, and regulatory compliance across product lines.

Responsibilities:

Define and lead system architecture across platforms (mechanical, electronic, software, consumables)
Develop and implement modularization strategies and long-term architectural roadmaps
Maintain reference architectures, interface contracts, and design guidelines
Serve as Design Authority and ensure architectural consistency across projects
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485) and support risk management
Guide architectural trade-offs and cross-disciplinary technical decisions
Continuously improve architectural methodologies, tools, and internal R&D efficiency
Provide technical governance, planning, and KPI tracking to support project success
Oversee DevOps operations, including CI/CD pipelines and reusable internal modules
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology and architecture with strategic goals
Represent the organization in technical consortia and standardization initiatives

Key Skills and Requirements:

Master's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, ideally in mechatronics, systems engineering, software engineering, or a related field
Continued education in systems architecture or systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE certification)
Proven years of working experience in R&D, including this within a senior system architecture role
Proven experience in platform development and cross-functional collaboration
Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or external technical events
