Senior Consultant Data Protection

Proclinical is partnering with a rapidly growing international consultancy with multiple offices across Switzerland. We are in search of a Senior Data Protection Consultant to design and implement processes and measures for data protection. You will work closely with their clients Legal, Compliance, Public Policy, and Information Security functions to develop and monitor policies and standards applicable to the business and in compliance with GDPR.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing measures and a privacy governance framework to manage data use in compliance with GDPR, including developing templates for data collection, assisting with data mapping, and vendor management reviews
• Working with key internal stakeholders in the review of projects and related data to ensure compliance with local data privacy laws, and where necessary, complete and advise on privacy impact assessments.
• You will design and implement the corresponding processes and measures and also take responsibility for ensuring that the Swiss Data Protection Act, the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the regulatory requirements are complied with in the process.
• Managing and conducting ongoing reviews and Monitoring changes to local privacy laws.
• Setting standards and reviewing policies and procedures globally that meet the requirements under GDPR and any localisation requirements in countries of operation.
• Developing and delivering privacy training to various business functions.
• Collaborating with the Information Security function(s) to raise employee awareness of data privacy and security issues and providing training on the subject matter.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in Logistics, Retail, Pharma, or Manufacturing or relevant roles in a consulting environment.
• You have a combination of business/IT and/or law studies with proven cyber security skills.
• You would like to support our team and our clients with your knowledge in the area of data protection, information security or data governance/compliance.
• You are interested in national and international legal and regulatory requirements.
• You can explain complex solutions to our customers in German or English.
• You have a privacy certification or are open to further training.
