Scientific Director - Remote based USA

Proclinical is currently seeking a Scientific Director for a fast-growing medical communications agency located in Amsterdam, but the position is based remotely in the US. This is a hybrid role split between medical writing and account management dependent on the specific project/account.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicating medical research through writing.
• Performing background literature research and the subsequent preparation of high-quality, medically accurate documents.
• Addressing different target audiences through peer-reviewed literature.

Essential requirements are:

• PhD in preferably Biology or life sciences (or relevant work experience plus a bioscience degree).
• Ability to rapidly learn and apply knowledge in previously unfamiliar therapy areas.
• Excellent command of the English language and outstanding writing and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to run multiple parallel projects.
• Experience in professional medical writing within a medical communications agency, scientific or medical publishing company, or equivalent - a strong advantage!
• Native English Speaker.
• Medical Writing experience in a medical communications agency.
• Authored Publications.
