Proclinical is seeking a Sales Specialist to join a dynamic team focused on supporting sales efforts in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors across Japan. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and developing customer relationships, generating new leads, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Responsibilities:
- Support Sales Specialists with routine and repeat business opportunities.
- Engage with untapped segments of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Generate and qualify new leads through trade shows and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to address customer inquiries, provide pricing, and close sales.
- Perform project management tasks, including schedule maintenance for ongoing projects.
- Handle administrative tasks such as shipping study reports and invoices to customers.
- Attend conferences, sales meetings, and trade shows as needed.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support product lines or sites, generating new leads and coordinating face-to-face meetings.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Native proficiency in Japanese.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in life sciences or a related discipline.
- Experience in the life sciences industry, with sales or sales support experience preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
