Research Associate - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking a Research Associate specializing in Analytical Chemistry for a contract role based in Cambridge, MA. This position involves a mix of on-site and remote work, with a focus on advancing analytical method development and supporting drug substance process and formulation optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and contribute to the development of innovative therapies in the immuno-oncology space.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Knowledge of analytical technologies such as HPLC, HRMS, GC, FT-IR, NMR, KF, Dissolution, PXRD, or other pharmaceutical analysis techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field with relevant experience, or a Master's degree with limited experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The Research Associate's responsibilities will be:

  • Execute experiments to support analytical method development, suitability assessments, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform chemical and physical analyses to guide drug substance process and formulation decisions.
  • Address technical issues for methods developed internally or with external CDMO partners.
  • Author and review data and reports related to laboratory work.
  • Coordinate and prioritize internal Analytical Development resources in collaboration with project representatives.
  • Present scientific data and findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Participate proactively in instrument maintenance.
