A vacancy has arisen for a Regional Sales Manager, DACH position with a worldwide genetic testing and diagnostics company that develops and commercialises non-invasive methods for analysing DNA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading pharmaceutical organisation and support their innovative impact on the healthcare field.
Job Responsibilities:
- The position for a candidate based in Germany (or Austria/ Switzerland/ Netherlands)
- Manage the company's international business with the resources of a burgeoning and successful company.
- The Regional Manager represents the company and its business interests at the highest levels: with top physicians and key opinion leaders, lab directors and CEOs of laboratory companies, in the women's health industry as well as in the oncology market.
- This is a front-line sales and business development role requiring about 50-70% local travel.
- This position is a major leadership role within the company that may lead to future management opportunities.
Skills and Requirements:
- MBA, Master's degree or PhD from a top-ranked school preferred
- Experience in sales (preferably in a genetic / diagnostic lab), management consulting, and/or deal-making roles like business development or private equity/venture capital with proven record of closing deals
- Background in biological sciences, genetics and/or demonstrated desire to work in the healthcare industry
- International experience, ability to speak relevant foreign languages, and desire for international travel
- Languages: German (native speaker level), English (proficient level), French (added value).
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
