Proclinical is currently seeking a Regional Account Director for a biopharmaceutical company located in The Great Lakes. Successful candidate will be the individual contributor that provides market access solutions to key customers in a specific region. This position reports to the National Account Director, Reimbursement & Access.
Job Responsibilities:
- Delivering education and services pertaining to access, coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability of a novel oncology therapeutic to customers in their specific region.
- Focusing on key decision makers to include, but not limited to C-suite officers, pharmacy and pathology.
- Developing customer-specific pull-through strategies for a novel oncology therapeutic.
- Attending and planning strategic interactions at key industry conferences.
- Developing and executing a business plan that is consistent with the company's objectives, strategies and revenue goals.
- Working cross-functionally with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Directors, Marketing, Directors, National Payers and legal.
- Achieving revenue targets and objectives set by senior leadership.
- Tracking and analyzing performance data for their specific region.
- Complying with the company's policies and procedures.
Skills and Requirements:
- BS in life sciences or business.
- MS/MA preferred.
- 10+ years of US pharmaceutical industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with customers in a market access capacity.
- Part A and B experience a must.
- Experience working with institutions and IDNs.
- Demonstrated ability to remove access barriers.
- Oncology and infused specialty product launch experience.
- Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, payment landscapes and policies as related to oncology and orphan drugs.
- Experience with orphan drug reimbursement preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with other field teams.
- Clinical, technical and scientific knowledge and aptitude in complex disease states.
- Demonstrated planning and communication skills; ability to present complex information to multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a fast-growing biotech company.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
