Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Senior Recruiter - IT position with an internally renowned biopharmaceutical company. A leading organisation with a solid commercial portfolio of life-saving drugs within a number of therapy areas and a pipeline of late-stage drug candidates is seeking applications to join their team in California. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an internationally renowned company as it continues to ensure medications are available to those who would otherwise lack access to them.
The Senior Recruiter will provide innovative, proactive solutions to hiring talented individuals across Corporate IT and other functions as assigned, whilst providing a best in class service to hiring managers, the recruitment team, and candidates alike. The Senior Recruiter will have a demonstrated track record of success in an in-house recruitment role using pro-active activities to provide diverse, high-quality recruitment shortlists and an exceptional stakeholder experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Owning function-specific recruitment activities, such as attraction, selection, and offer management.
- Partnering with hiring managers and HR to develop a systematic and clear recruitment strategy to fill new/replacement positions. These will vary in scope and level across the function.
- Overseeing the life-cycle of the recruiting process, with emphasis being placed on direct contact to potential candidates, industry networking, utilising internal referrals, and the use of multi-channel sourcing to attract a diverse pool of top talent to enable company success.
- Utilising prior successful experience in filling demanding Biopharmaceutical positions to attract candidates that maintain company corporate culture, mission, and vision.
Skills and Requirements:
- A BA/BS/BSc in HR or Business or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrable experience as an in-house Recruiter in the biopharmaceutical industry, though experienced with technical sectors will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience in building candidate pipelines through direct sourcing.
- Capable of working with all levels of company management to manage life-cycle recruiting.
- Significant experience with screening, interviewing, and managing the offer process.
- Strong experience with professional/social media, job boards, the utilization of company referral programs, and networking to achieve recruiting results.
- Capable of working independently, analysing, working with attention to detail, process and prioritise sensitive complex information, and solve problems.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, along with applicant tracking systems and HRIS Systems.
