Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Planner - Normal position with one of the most prestigious pharmaceutical companies in the world. Internationally renowned for their work across a range of industries, the organisation is currently broadcasting this attractive vacancy to be based in their Swiss office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a top 10 company whose work spans medical devices to pharmaceutical and consumer goods.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating a constrained weekly master production schedule (MPS) and ensuring raw material availability.
- Planning and freezing period management of production activities (rescheduling, rework, outsourced work).
- Maintaining inventories within goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete, and expired products; developing overall inventory projections for specific products.
- Performing Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) for resources, shifts, equipment, and shutdowns.
- Establishing minimum order quantities (MOQ) and balance against overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- Planting inventory management and control.
- Reporting on ownership and updates.
- Planting Slow Moving & Obsolete (SLOB) management.
- Resolving manufacturing conflicts for site/portfolio as they relate to production planning.
- Managing impact and communication of manufacturing driven change.
- Leading/supporting all compliance process activities including change control, deviations, events, and non-conformance reports and assessing supply impact.
- Providing asset specific input to the end to end supply chain processes and ensuring planning master data (safety stock, lead times, etc.) in the ERP system are accurate and up to date.
- Participating in new product launch meetings and new product forecasts as a business partner.
- Executing planning activities during phase-in/phase-out programs.
Skills and Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Supply chain certification (APICS/ IBF) desirable.
- 3 - 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with ERP & advanced planning systems.
- Production planning or manufacturing experience in a medical, pharmaceutical, or consumer industry.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g. GMP, ISO requirements) is desirable.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with fluency in German a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
