This position will conduct laboratory studies to support technology transfer, manufacturing investigations, and process improvement projects. You will also assist with daily laboratory activities and contribute to the enhancement of lab capabilities and procedures. This is a temporary contract position based in Solothurn, Switzerland.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and document purification and filtration experiments in the lab.
- Analyse samples and data, author reports, and communicate results to management and project teams.
- Support lab operations including sample and data management, reagent and consumable management, buffer preparation, and equipment maintenance.
- Author work instructions and maintain a safe workspace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing scale projects, including tech transfer and process investigations.
- Author investigation and validation protocols and reports, and develop sample plans as needed.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Educational background in Bioprocess Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Technical knowledge and experience in biomanufacturing or process development.
- Experience with lab-scale purification and filtration systems.
- Proficiency in data workflows and analytics is advantageous.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
