Proclinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to join our client's team. In this role, you will perform various tasks in a core laboratory setting with limited supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate's work will focus on reagent preparation, cell culture operations, and supporting experiments. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in life sciences (BS or AS).
- Experience handling mammalian cells.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques preferred.
- Ability to write SOPs and maintain lab documentation.
- Strong motivation and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Physical ability to stand/sit for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
The Mammalian Cell Laboratory Technician III's responsibilities will be:
- Produce differentiated cells using Pluripotent Stem Cells following SOPs and protocols.
- Prepare chemicals, medium, and buffer solutions; perform large-scale filtration.
- Support cell culture operations, including inventory management and documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with processes and equipment.
- Assist with facility start-up activities and support MSAT and assay services.
- Order laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process development.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks and ensure equipment maintenance.
- Contribute to business goals and promote cross-functional teamwork.
Compensation:
- $25.00 - $ 33.00 Per Hour
