Scientist DPS Phys-Chem

Proclinical is seeking a Phys-Chem Scientist to independently perform routine and validation assays for small and large molecules in a quality control setting. You will focus on maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and supporting audit readiness. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to laboratory operations.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and validation Phys-Chem assays for various molecules following SOPs and GDP.
• Perform and review basic operational tasks such as mobile phase preparations and equipment calibration.
• Assist in troubleshooting and investigating lab equipment issues.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and manage inventory to ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee maintenance and requalification of lab equipment as the Instrument Responsible Person.
• Participate in laboratory optimization and process improvement initiatives.
• Train others in conducting compendial and non-purity methods in the laboratory.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in executing Phys-Chem assays under cGMP standards.
• Ability to perform basic laboratory operational tasks and equipment calibration.
• Strong problem-solving skills for equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience in maintaining laboratory standards for audit readiness.
• Capability to oversee equipment maintenance and requalification.
• Participation in process improvement initiatives.
• Training skills for laboratory methods.
