Proclinical is seeking a motivated Assoc. Scientist to join its Process Sciences team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support the development and execution of nucleic‑acid construct manufacturing approaches for siRNA therapeutics. You'll collaborate closely with senior scientists and engineers to run laboratory procedures, capture and organize data, and contribute to process improvements and technology‑handover activities.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Laboratory experience through academic, co-op, internship, or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques such as pH, conductivity, HPLC, or LC-MS.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality laboratory documentation.
The Associate Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Support processing activities for oligonucleotide manufacturing under the guidance of senior staff.
- Execute laboratory-scale and pilot-scale processes to meet research and material needs.
- Perform routine in-process analytical tests such as pH, conductivity, UV, and basic chromatography.
- Assist in the preparation, execution, and documentation of non-GMP manufacturing runs.
- Follow established SOPs and batch records in a cGLP laboratory environment.
- Contribute to drafting and revising SOPs, batch records, and technical documentation.
- Operate laboratory and analytical equipment after receiving appropriate training.
- Accurately document experimental work following good documentation practices (GDP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Process Development, Analytical Sciences, and Manufacturing.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace.
- Support inventory management activities.
Compensation:
- $35.00 - $45.00 Per Hour
