Maintenance Technician - Contract - Fremont, CA

Proclinical is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of facility systems and equipment. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to uphold safety and efficiency standards. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to support seamless operations.

The Maintenance Technician will:

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and building systems.
Diagnose and promptly repair equipment and system issues.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and support facility operations.
Engage with vendors and property maintenance teams as necessary.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders for cross-departmental maintenance coordination.

Skills & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Proficiency in basic lab equipment maintenance, such as oiling pumps and defrosting cold storage units.
Experience in clean room environments and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is desirable.
Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous.
Willingness to work occasional off-hours to meet lab/business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Basic computer skills are required.
