Inventory Control Specialist - Contract - Philadelphia, PA

Job Description:

Proclinical is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and integrity within a facility. In this role, you will focus on optimizing space utilization, monitoring product movement, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position is integral to maintaining efficient order fulfillment and contributing to a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control inventory integrity.
Maintain product identification and location systems.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Lead physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
Track and report non-conforming products.
Document and manage aged or damaged products.
Ensure timely labeling and compliance with inventory accuracy metrics.
Coordinate efforts across departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
Train staff in inventory control techniques as needed.
Assist warehouse employees and logistics staff when required.
Contribute to departmental goals and overall operations.
Perform tasks in compliance with regulations, international standards, and company policies.
Support adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Handle other duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Proficiency in computer skills, including email and spreadsheets; experience with Great Plains preferred.
Familiarity with shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, and World Courier.
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to read, write, and understand English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical capability to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 65 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
Comfortable working in environments with biohazards, chemicals, and variable noise levels.
Commitment to compliance with FDA and worldwide quality regulations.
