Engineer/Drafter - Contract - Remote within US

Proclinical is working with a pharma company who is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing a pipeline of differentiated oncology and surgical guidance drugs.
Primary Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced engineer/drafter on a contract basis to support our R&D engineering and fabrication efforts in our new corporate headquarters in Bonita Springs, Florida. This is an open-ended full-time contract position that can be performed remotely but must be based in the United States.
Skills & Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, drafting, architecture, or other related discipline with 2-4 years' experience
- Demonstrated ability with Solidworks software
- Experience with PDM programs as they relate to mechanical engineering and manufacturing
- Working knowledge of CAD, fabrication, and manufacturing is a must
- Proven track record of working independently under direction of senior engineers in a fast-paced, agile, startup work environment
- Experience with radiation enclosures, GMP manufacturing, or medical devices is a plus.
The Engineer/Drafter's responsibilities will be:
- Assist in the production of BoM's, part numbers, and drawings as necessary to support mechanical engineering efforts
- Draft high-level assembly and exploded view drawings of complex medical devices and enclosures.
- Support the company's PDM program for version control and life cycle management
- Request part numbers and liaise between engineering and quality for change requests and other documentation
