Proclinical is seeking a Lead Commercial Excellence Manager to join a dynamic team in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will drive commercial and business excellence across the DACH region by designing, planning, and implementing processes, tools, and initiatives to optimize sales performance and business outcomes. This position offers an opportunity to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the DACH Commercial Excellence Plan, aligning with international partners on key priorities.
- Collaborate with Sales Leads on customer targeting, key account management (KAM) performance, market prioritization, and sales force effectiveness (SFE).
- Promote and embed a culture of SFE and commercial excellence within the organization.
- Drive adoption and effective use of tools like Veeva CRM and Tableau for data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze and integrate insights from market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, forecasting, and CRM data to support strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead change management initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and influence without direct authority.
- Provide leadership in issue resolution and ensure timely delivery of results.
- Maintain regular attendance and participate in field rides, meetings, and congresses as needed.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in commercial roles within sales, marketing, or commercial excellence, ideally in the diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated success in implementing commercial excellence projects with measurable outcomes.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Veeva), Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a matrix organization.
- Experience in leading and coordinating strategic initiatives.
- Office-based in Munich with a minimum of 2-3 days per week onsite and travel as required.
