Proclinical is partnering with a leading CRO/CDMO to advertise a vacancy for a Laboratory Technician - Analytics. The organisation supports the research and development of new drug substances and the optimization of manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life science companies. Job Responsibilities:
- Performing analytical tests, utilising techniques such as HPLC, spectroscopy, and spectroscopic methods such as UV.
- Performing assays using appropriate laboratory techniques for lab group assigned to.
- Reporting observations of ongoing tests to Study Director or Laboratory Manager.
- Communicating with supervisor and other colleagues regarding daily lab activities.
- Working on routine assignments per written procedures, focusing on deviation from accepted practice.
- Contributing to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals
- Performing job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, Company Policies, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Skills and Requirements:
- A Bachelors' degree or apprenticeship in chemical technical education or as a lab technician.
- Fluency in English and German, in both a written and verbal capacity.
- Demonstrable experience performing analytical tests and have knowledge of a range of analytical techniques (e.g HPLC, spectroscopy and spectroscopic methods such as UV, CD, Fluorescence, chromatographic, and calorimetric methods, such as SEC-UV, SEC-MALLS, AF4, or nanoDSC).
- Have knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Experience with or knowledge of LIMS and Chromeleon systems.
- Capable of working independently, analysing, working with attention to detail, process and prioritise sensitive complex information, and solving problems.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
