Proclinical is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth IT operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will focus on troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, supporting onboarding/offboarding processes, and maintaining IT infrastructure. This position requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in supporting both Mac and Windows operating systems (Windows 11, macOS).
- Strong understanding of networking, workstations, and SaaS tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience supporting executive-level users.
- Knowledge of device management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Mosyle MDM).
- Experience with ManageEngine ServiceDesk is advantageous.
- Familiarity with lab-scientific applications (e.g., ChemDraw, MSD, GraphPad) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Teams support and administration.
- Experience with printers and peripheral devices in a corporate setting.
- PowerShell scripting experience is a bonus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCDST, A+, ACMT, ITIL) are a plus.
The IT Specialist's responsibilities will be:
- Act as the first point of contact for technical support, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks, including laptop setup, account provisioning, and access management.
- Address help desk tickets promptly and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve or close aging support tickets.
- Conduct technical setup and training for new hires.
- Maintain accurate records of technology inventory.
- Administer accounts, backup solutions, and cloud-based services.
- Oversee local office IT infrastructure and support video conferencing tools.
- Document procedures and update knowledge base resources.
- Lead and support small IT projects from initiation to completion.
Compensation:
- $80,000 to $85,000 per annum.
