IT Project Manager

Proclinical are recruiting an IT Project Manager for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Basel. The client is focused on offering products for research, clinical development and commercial application.

Responsibilities:

• Handle project team, consisting of the client's personnel and external associates.
• You will handle project spending, resources, risks, assumptions, problems and dependencies, also suggest suitable mitigation activities.
• Accountable for projects up to accomplishment of transition phase, which involves handover and hyper care.
• The ideal candidate will set up a strong project governance structure, outline project scope and crucial goals, working together with project sponsor, steering committee and/or business owner.
• Recognise all pertinent project shareholders, handle relations and guarantee customer view are reflected in the implementation of the project.
• Distribute IT application projects within budget and are of high-quality in a timely manner.
• Assist any other IT project managers within the team or in any other divisions with methodology and best practice to plan, budget and successfully implement IT.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in an information technology field or similar training and qualification PMI or any other similar project management strategy.
• At least 5 years of experience in an IT project management role within a global organisation.
• Obtained a drive and high energy to resolve multifaceted concerns within a fast-paced setting.
• Works well independently.
• Leadership capabilities.
• Able to make detailed plans as well as think analytically.
• Past involvement in handling competing priorities.
• Fluency in the English and/or German languages at a C1 level or higher.
