Senior Systems Engineer (Datacentre & Networking)

As a recruitment partner, Proclinical is collaborating with a leading Swiss IT services provider, I'm supporting our client in the search for a Senior Systems Engineer. My client is one of Switzerland's most established IT firms, delivering innovative, flexible, and cost-effective IT solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Their proprietary high-performance Swiss cloud is among the most advanced in the country, and they pride themselves on being a proactive, sustainable IT partner.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing technical support and enhancements for client IT environments.
• Guide clients through IT strategy and lifecycle planning, offering expert consultation.
• Deploy, configure, and manage IT infrastructure using technologies such as Sophos, pfSense, Aruba, HPE, IaaS, Managed Desktop, Veeam Backup, and PaaS.
• Take ownership of projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
• Architect, implement, and sustain robust and scalable network solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Firewalls and Networking
• Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems
• Virtualized Environments
• Linux, Veeam Backup, Sophos, pfSense, Aruba, HPE, IaaS, Managed Desktop, Veeam Backup, Paas
• Fluent in German (C1 Minimum)
