ICT Workplace Engineer

Proclinical is seeking an ICT Workplace Engineer to join our client's team in Basel, Switzerland. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing Citrix environments, along with supporting software distribution and optimizing Microsoft Intune for endpoint management. We are looking for someone who can ensure a stable and high-performance workstation infrastructure and is eager to automate and standardize deployment processes.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.
• Support and develop software distribution using DSM.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
• Ensure a stable and high-performance workstation infrastructure.
• Automate and standardize deployment and configuration processes.
• Provide troubleshooting and 2nd/3rd level support in endpoint management.
• Conduct migrations and updates for workplace services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; train users and IT colleagues.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance workplace solutions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proficient in administering and configuring Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
• Experience with software distribution via Ivanti DSM.
• Skilled in Powershell scripting.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server) and their administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, group policies (GPOs), and Entra ID.
• Experience with M365 and Microsoft Intune.
• Basic understanding of network architectures, VPN, and security concepts.
