Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a HEOR Manager position with a leading pharmaceutical research company. The organization prides itself on its solid commercial portfolio of life-saving drugs within a number of therapy areas, along with a growing pipeline of investigational drugs and an unmatched patient access program. Based in the company's California office, this is an exciting opportunity to work with an internationally renowned company and support their innovative impact on the healthcare field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and translate HEOR value messaging effectively and creatively in manuscripts, dossiers, and appropriate communication tools for payers.
  • Support the development, deployment, and appropriate use of field tools and resources (e.g. slide decks) and ensure correct positioning and relevant messaging in these tools to optimize access.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Medical and other functions to evaluate emerging opportunities and threats, understand the competitive landscape, and anticipate any barriers to access.
  • Work closely with Payer Medical Scientist and HEOR teams to establish best practices and coordinate effective interface and knowledge sharing across departments.
  • Provide scientific support at advisory boards, regional educational programs, conferences and other external meetings.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Scientific degree with 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or managed care.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HEOR preferred.
  • A comprehensive understanding of US healthcare systems and reimbursement processes/decision-making.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
