Can you safeguard the future of medicine by defending critical pharmaceutical data and digital infrastructure against evolving cyber threats?

Proclinical is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to support a project focused on enhancing the cyber security framework for a campus in Spain. This role involves working on-site twice per week and collaborating with IT and Cyber Security teams to ensure the protection of operational technology (OT), information technology (IT), and business management applications (BMA) systems. The position requires creating and implementing strategies, policies, and documentation to align with corporate protocols and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document cyber security protocols, including known threats and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance for implementing and maintaining local cyber security controls.
  • Create incident response documentation and procedures for handling cyber security incidents.
  • Develop local cyber security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and address potential security threats.
  • Design and develop cyber security awareness and training materials for employees.
  • Document remediation strategies and procedures for managing vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare detailed cyber security reports with insights and recommendations for senior management.
  • Review compliance with relevant cyber security regulations and standards, including audit documentation.
  • Document relationships with local cyber security vendors and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Analyze and report on the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Handover all developed documentation, strategies, and reports for review and approval.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in cyber security, particularly in OT, IT, and BMA systems.
  • Experience in developing and implementing security protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective training and awareness programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and audit preparation.
  • Strong analytical skills for technology trend analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
