Proclinical are seeking, in support of our client, an individual to fill the role of Engineering Project Manager, based in South San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will coordinate all activities between internal and external contributors to achieve product development goals and execute according to design control process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a project plan to guide medical device development through the design control process from broad user requirements through V&V and NPI.
- Coordinate execution of tasks and transfer of deliverables between different constituent teams.
- Hold recurring project meetings with internal and external contributors, tracking detailed tasks, progress, schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate test execution and defect resolution burn-down.
- Develop a project dashboard that tracks detailed ongoing tasks, risk register, critical paths, and communicate to executive team solutions aimed at mitigating identified project risks.
- Maintain awareness of project state and key deliverables.
Skills And Qualifications
- MS in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent and 10+ years of medical device development experience.
- 3 years of project management with a track record of commercialized products.
- Experience managing quality system documentation, verification testing, defect tracking and Agile software development.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Tracking to budget experience.
