EHS Site Lead (Responsabile delle EHS) - Biotech

Proclinical is seeking an EHS Site Lead to oversee environmental health and safety resources and services at a biotech facility in Tuscany. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement safety measures and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This position will involve optimizing resources, driving process improvements, and managing emergency response systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update health, safety, and environmental documentation in line with company policies.
• Oversee plant risk assessments and assist in identifying safety measures.
• Support management in complying with safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement and improve the certified EHS management system.
• Monitor compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
• Manage waste handling and disposal processes.
• Ensure maintenance of certifications and ISO standards compliance.
• Deliver training on health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Coordinate the plant's emergency management system.
• Contribute to sustainability management programs.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Master's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Completed training to serve as an RSPP.
• Proficiency in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Familiarity with process risk analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of fire prevention and ATEX regulations.
• Understanding of waste management practices.
• Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
• Excellent prioritization and communication abilities.
