Proclinical are recruiting for a Director, Commercial Operations to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Munich.


  • Handle vendor relations and contracting procedure collaborating with Admin/Finance.
  • Collaborate with SAN/Alliance to foster cooperation with SAN and assist/inspire crucial alliance decision making initiatives.
  • Facilitate delivery on contractual commitments and participate in improving joint operations in the outlined scope of the co-commercialisation agreement and guide joint projects.
  • Partake in forming policies/procedures as links to car fleet, new joiners onboarding, performance management framework, etc., via cross-functional engagement.
  • You will serve as a German main point of contact for commercial operations.
  • Cooperate with Alliance partner assisting with planning and arrangement of new and ongoing training operations for field force.
  • Offer operational assistance to commercial leadership team to enable field force operations and efficiency when needed.
  • The ideal candidate will drive data/analytics method and planning, collaborating with commercial leadership and marketing to acknowledge business requirements and provide acumens to improve both decision making and efficiency.
  • Arrange onboarding procedure alongside HR, training, SAN/Alliance, marketing and comm. IT, commercial leaders and supervise vacancy fulfilment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in analytics, computer science, marketing or similar discipline.
  • Several years of pertinent work experience.
  • Fluency in both the German and English languages.
  • Familiarity within pharma/speciality care would be beneficial.
  • Acquaintance working in a co-promote or alliance would be ideal.
  • Presentation and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • A results-driven individual with the ability to handle various projects simultaneously.
  • Prior involvement using VEEVA CRM and Salesforce Tableau or corresponding.
  • Works well in a team.
  • A positive individual with a helpful 'can do' mindset.
  • A background in leadership skills in commercial operations within a pharmaceutical organisation.
  • Business insight with project management and analytical abilities.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of operating within a high paced launch setting.
  • An energetic individual who is pragmatic.
  • An organised individual.
