Data Scientist

Proclinical are recruiting a Data Scientist for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Glattbrugg. The client is focused on discovering the correct remedies for people.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the evolvement and execution of statistical and technology learning algorithms.
• Dynamically collaborate with associates to guarantee a continuous transfer of information.
• Assist brand teams and international corporate operations with sophisticated data evaluation and insightful documents.
• Recognise prospects for developing the organisation procedures through comprehension of the meaning behind the data.
• You will assist in the evolvement and the learning procedure of junior associates.
• Train, share information and serve as an experience resource and methodical advisor across brand portfolio.
• Produce new or challenging present procedures to further optimise and automate the present way of operating.
• The ideal candidate will guide small and medium-sized projects or is included as a subject matter expert.
• Form a global network of corporation intelligence contacts.

Skills & Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a business administration, economics, computer science, mathematics, physics or a similar discipline.
• At least 2 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Python / R, SQL and JavaScript as well as web programming such as HTML, CSS, SVG, etc.
• Brilliant analytical abilities and knowledge of statistics.
• Familiarity with interactive data visualisation using D3.js.
• Possesses a strategical work approach with a high attention to detail.
• Comprehends new notions swiftly and eager to learn on the job.
• Fluency in the English language and ideally in Spanish, French German or Italian would be beneficial.
• Comprehension of machine learning methods and optimisation skills both while under supervision and not under supervision.
• Able to think strategically and analytically who is capable of quantitative analysis.
• Capable of assessing and comprehending issues from various perspectives as well as promptly views interrelationships and cause-and-effect relations.
• Able to assume a systematic approach to solve all problems efficaciously.
• Capable of enabling collaboration between associates on an internal and external level to engage with all levels of the business across various functional teams.
• Is proactive in recognising service assistance and information flow and procedure.
• An organised individual who manages their time efficiently, with the ability to complete and deliver tasks in a timely fashion.
