Proclinical is seeking a CQV Engineer specializing in Utilities & Facilities for a contract role. This position focuses on overseeing black and clean utilities, as well as HVAC systems, ensuring safety, timely completion, and functionality according to established plans and protocols.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Manage black utilities such as Instrument Air, Black Steam, and Cooling Water Systems.
- Oversee clean utilities including Compressed Air, Nitrogen, and Purified Water Systems.
- Execute and review commissioning and qualification test protocols using electronic documentation systems.
- Conduct sequence of operation testing, control loop tuning, and alarm/interlock testing.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during commissioning, escalating proactively.
- Support integrated commissioning of DeltaV system software and hardware.
- Fine-tune equipment performance to meet acceptance criteria.
- Ensure safe start-up of utilities and HVAC systems, adhering to risk assessments.
- Participate in shift work as required and support other C&Q activities.
- Ensure field execution complies with safety standards, including Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
- Proactively solve problems and manage interfaces effectively.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
- Experience in process and utility system commissioning.
- Hands-on experience with DeltaV DCS, including troubleshooting.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and cGMP standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
