Cost Manager (Engineering)

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Cost Manager to support global engineering capital projects. This role involves managing and overseeing project costs and reporting through various stages. You will play a crucial part in ensuring cost control processes align with project requirements and support budget owners effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project cost estimates and transition them into control budgets.
• Identify and manage project interfaces, establishing protocols and responsibilities.
• Provide accurate and timely cost reports for project leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure contractors have methodologies and tools aligned with project control requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive cost reporting, including budget, commitments, and estimates.
• Support project leadership in resource management and forecasting financial outcomes.
• Assist in project change, risk, and opportunity management regarding cost impacts.
• Oversee contingency drawdown and project closeout activities.
• Provide guidance and support to other cost engineers as needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English; Business German is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret and communicate cost data effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP, SAP Ariba, and Oracle Primavera Unifier is desirable. Experience in global environments and pharmaceutical projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex data sets.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
