Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist who is passionate about improving patient care in the field of venous thromboembolism (VTE). The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a knack for problem-solving and a strong drive to achieve sales targets. This role involves promoting medical devices, providing technical training and support to customers, and developing the market for existing and new products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the products and services in the portfolio
- Regularly visit customers and potential customers to promote products and services
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets as agreed with your Manager
- Manage existing customers and acquire new ones in the assigned territory
- Plan and develop the market for existing and new products in line with divisional goals and objectives
- Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs
- Serve as a competent contact person for hospital management, purchasing department, and hospital staff
- Analyze and report market and business feedback to your Manager and/or others on a monthly and yearly basis
- Be on call as needed, prioritizing patient care
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, business).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the medical device, with a proven track record of success. Clinical background and experience in interventional cardiology, radiology, or vascular surgery is highly desirable.
- You will need to be experienced in supporting surgical cases within the Operating Theatre environment.
- Prior experience supporting surgical procedures in the Operating Theater (OR) is essential
