An international healthcare company is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager/Senior Manager to their office in Shanghai. The organisation focuses on the development of novel therapeutics for treatment of unmet medical needs in immune oncology and inflammatory disorders for patients in China and established markets. Job Responsibilities:

Taking responsibility for large and integral components of business development initiatives across the function with frequent touchpoints with direct and indirect manager for guidance, alignment and planning.
Collaborating and providing strong ideas during analysis and planning sessions.

Skills and Requirements:

Undergraduate degree is required, advanced degrees (Science/ Finance/ Business Management) in related fields are a plus.
Four to seven years of experience in related industry (preferred) or functional roles (business development, management consulting, investment banking, securities analysis, pharma operations or strategy) expected.
English and Chinese verbal, written and cultural proficiency are required.
As a baseline, candidates are expected to have strong core research and analytical skills, awareness of how healthcare ecosystems work and differ around the world and strong communication skills.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
