Our partner originally engaged us to build their market access team in the UK. Following the success of this project, they came to us to help with market access manager roles across 4 European territories. They had been actively interviewing candidates for the open vacancies using local suppliers with no success. The main challenge was that biosimilars, at the time, was a challenging area to source in. The candidates were required to have worked in niche therapeutic areas, and so the candidate pool was limited from which to identify top talent.
As we were selected as their exclusive staffing partner for the commercial build, we were able to promote a consistent message to the marketplace.
We met and consulted with the leadership team to agree and forge a path that best suited their timelines. We conducted extensive talent mapping to identify candidates that were technically suitable, and headhunted across Europe to find local-based candidates with the desired skillsets, utilising our multilingual capabilities to ensure that candidates were spoken to in their native languages. We worked to educate our partner on recruitment best practice, created an education piece around unique challenges in each location, and managed expectations accordingly. We advised on a likely price range and offered a shortlist of individuals at a variety of cost levels which were reflective of their experience.
