Proclinical are recruiting for a TPL/Process Engineer to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Visp.

Responsibilities:

  • You will actively be involved in problem resolution, commissioning and qualification actions and documentation preparing and implementation.
  • Mediate with SGIE bioengineering group for design standardisation and comprehension of best practices to consider for each equipment module.
  • Handle the preparation of the design variables to satisfy the client's needs.
  • Assume accountability of allocated equipment modules & handle vendor/fabricator work schedules aligned with the general project schedule and budget.
  • Analyse technical issues within the manufacturing areas and evolve both short- and long-term suggestions for their improvement.
  • Guide or support cross-functional teams in discovering solutions to technical issues.
  • Daily construction monitoring and arrangement of EPCM & Vendors on the installation and startup of allocated equipment and modules.
  • The ideal candidate will be involved with equipment design and any other linked evaluations to guarantee that equipment meets process specification and usability needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering field.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a large molecule drug substance facility as well as an engineering package owner.
  • Expertise on large molecule procedures CIP and SIP design.
  • Comprehension of upstream recipe design as well as of all operational processes.
  • Know-how of DIN dimensional standards, typical piping specifications, and ASME-BPE.
  • Comprehension of the design procedures on startup within an operating facility.
  • Comprehension of the CQV lifecycle as well as of tech transfer and MSAT procedures and process descriptions.
  • Acquaintance working with vendors in assistance of site optimisations.
  • Able to speak without disruption in a multi-discipline design meeting.
  • Competence in Navisworks and 3d model evaluations to assist online and offline area evaluations, as well as in technical process control tuning and DeltaV recipe design.
