Staff Specialist, ERP Systems

Proclinical is seeking a Staff Specialist, ERP Systems to join a global IT team in Penang, Malaysia. This role focuses on optimizing and maintaining ERP systems with the latest technologies while ensuring seamless collaboration across international time zones. The position requires a strong customer mindset, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize and maintain the technical setup of ERP systems, ensuring they align with the latest technologies.
• Manage system performance, background jobs, load balancing, vulnerability handling, and provide technical support.
• Perform administrative tasks such as user and client administration, backups, installations, configurations, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee upgrades of business applications within the ERP suite.
• Adhere to change management processes and good documentation practices.
• Participate in projects with a focus on technology and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors across different time zones, including European hours, to ensure effective communication and service delivery.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
• Background in ERP consultancy or solution architecture, preferably with knowledge of M3 ERP (training provided if unfamiliar).
• Ability to balance and align varying stakeholder interests and build successful cross-functional relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex solutions.
• Team player with experience working in a global, cross-cultural environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as a solution architect with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work late hours occasionally to support global stakeholders.
