Sr Research Scientist, Flow Cytometry - Contract - Wilmington, DE

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Senior Research Scientist to join the research team.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidates primary focus will be on operating and maintaining flow cytometry instruments, supporting the development of pre-clinical flow cytometry panels, and conducting experiments to evaluate new targets. This role is crucial in advancing our discovery pipeline and requires a strong commitment to laboratory work.

Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and data analysis software.
• Background in cancer or myeloid disease biology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in scientific software such as Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, and FCS Express.
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory setting.

The Sr Research Scientist's responsibilities will be:

• Operate and maintain flow cytometry instruments, including cell sorters.
• Assist in developing complex in vitro/in vivo flow cytometry panels.
• Conduct flow cytometry experiments, analyze data, and compile results.
• Perform 2D cell cultures and cellular growth assays.
• Work independently in the lab with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to safety practices and maintain accurate records.
