Senior Software Project Manager

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Software Project Manager to join our rapidly growing software development team. This role is focused on improving people's lives through the development and maintenance of intelligent ventilators. You will be leading a team of 3-6 developers, coordinating their work, and ensuring compliance with internal development processes and standards for medical device software development.

Responsibilities:

• Professional and technical management of a software team.
• Coordinating team members' work in maintenance projects.
• Ensuring compliance with internal development processes and standards.
• Recruiting, introducing, qualifying, and training new employees.
• Further training of your team.
• Working in an agile environment and acting as a software project manager.
• Involvement in all aspects of software development including error analysis, planning maintenance, effort estimation, scheduling, requirements engineering, software architecture and design, implementation, integration, testing, release, project documentation, and conducting document and design reviews.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Completed engineering degree with in-depth knowledge of technical computer science.
• Good knowledge of programming embedded systems with C++ and experience in programming microcontrollers.
• Experience in project management and agile development methods.
• Good knowledge of German and English.
• Experience in safety-critical industries such as medical, automotive, rail, etc. is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux or other comparable operating systems.
• Experience in creating and implementing software tests at different levels (unit, integration & system).
