Senior Scientist

Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Senior Scientist position with a leading top global pharmaceutical company that specialises in the development of biological therapies. This organisation, who are seen as a leading pioneer in their field, is seeking an applicant to join their team in Switzerland on a contract basis. Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and performing laboratory experiments for the parent formulation development and then manufacturing.
• Writing and executing laboratory protocols, whilst communicating with the team and project leads.
• Documenting results in an electronic laboratory notebook system.
• Assuring the correctness and integrity of data.
• Maintaining laboratory infrastructure and equipment.

Skills and Requirements:

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in a natural sciences field. Alternatively, a completed education as a technician/lab associate.
• 1-2 years of work experience in a pharmaceutical or analytical development laboratory in an industry or university capacity.
• Demonstrable experience with sterile dosage forms and biologicals (therapeutic proteins).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with German skills a desirable attribute.
• Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
• Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
